Video interviews
Structured one-way video interviews - candidates record on their own time; teams review before live calls.
What it is
An asynchronous video interview separates asking from watching. You define questions once. Candidates record video answers when available - see Candidate experience. Your team reviews later - no shared calendar hold for that first conversation.
Why teams use it
Teams adopt async video to cut scheduling back-and-forth on early screens, give every candidate the same first-round experience, and watch how candidates explain their work before investing live interview time. It also supports remote and high-volume hiring without adding headcount for every first round.
What candidates record
Each question produces one video, captured in the browser with a camera and microphone check. Candidates can typically re-record and review before final submit, depending on Job settings for that role.
What recruiters see
In the console you get question-by-question playback, application status, notes, and ratings alongside recordings. Transcripts and speech scores are prepared from the recorded audio and sit next to the video during review.
